Is Vivino toeing the legality line with marketing?

America’s prisons are already overcrowded. We can’t afford to incarcerate all the hyperbolic wine retailers.

Ah, the old “legal” vs “moral” argument. The stuff that keeps lawyers in business and people out of church. deadhorse

Imagine if we could though? Then we would really have in vino veritas!

If this sort of thing is of questionable legality, then Rimmerman should be serving consecutive life sentences.

On second thought, that would actually be fitting…

I’ve never had a Cab “from the back side of Diamond Mtn” that tastes like Tor ToKalon. Notice also that it does not say “Napa.” Technically, if you read it one way, the “back side of Diamond Mtn” might be Sonoma.

Good point!

and the intro says offered to the French Laundry and to his loyalists
It doesn’t say that they actually took it…

I can say “I only offered my wine to Vladimir Putin and his loyalists” but it does not mean they bought it, considered buying it or even saw the offer. I am still wondering that the AVA listing is for this.

I agree with others, it’s hard to even read the Vivino emails anymore given all the fluff.

That said, the offer sold out so I guess it doesn’t matter what we think.
