Is there something like Cote D'Or Imports in Bordeaux

I have used Cote D’Or Imports to ship wine to me from Burgundy on multiple occasions. [Côte d’Or Imports - Sending your wine treasures home (cotedorimports.com)] (https://www.cotedorimports.com/) They are really easy to deal with and do a great job. Now, I will be spending two days in Bordeaux in a few weeks. Is there something like Cote D’Or Imports in Bordeaux where I can aggregate purchases at different wineries and have them ship to me in the US?

Burgundy is produced in much smaller quantities than Bordeaux so there is a much greater utility of shipping from there. Pretty much anything you see in Bordeaux can be bought at home. I visited Thunevin"s wine shop in St. Emilion and had them ship 6 bottles of his wines that I wouldn’t see at home but that was an exception. Otherwise, have a great time and buy what you enjoyed when you get home.

Speaking for an American, I did not have the same experience as you when I visited Bordeaux a couple years ago. There were all sorts of bottlings, producers, and vintages that I could not find anywhere in the US, so I can understand the desire for a shipper. I don’t know of one that provides the exact service you’re asking about; however, I had a great experience with a retailer ETS Martin (https://www.etsmartin.com/) in St. Emilion and in particular Benoit (or “Ben”) was a great help shipping items we purchased at their store. They had a incredible selection of Bordeaux of all ranges, and the selection in their literal wine cave underneath the floor had amazing stuff. I even ordered twice from him while I was in the US: once shipped to me, once to a friend in France. Benoit made sure it all went well. I give them a hearty recommendation if you’re going to be in/near St. Emilion. Otherwise, sorry I couldn’t be of more assistance.
