Modern is, Bar room at the modern isn’t. They used to be listed separately if I recall.
I have an email into InKind to verify.

I did confirm with the Bar Room that they are taking it now, but the disappearance from the list could portend it’s leaving. That’s what happened at Marea I think, it took it for a little while after it was no longer on the list (per the waiter).
Seems weird that they would have it in one but not the other. Don’t they operate out of one kitchen with one POS system?
I also confirmed with InKind that it’s still valid, so both the Bar Room and InKind confirmed.
Odd that it’s not listed on the list anymore, but maybe I misremembered.

Barry - Where in LA are you using InKind?
I’m not. Pickings are poor here.
I use it in NYC where I’ll be next week.
I see they just added Pasjoli in LA, but have never been.

One thing we learned that might be useful to people is that Ci Siamo will let you use inKind to pay for an event in their private dining room. We did a family lunch for about 25 people with a pre-planned menu, etc., and the whole bill (~5k) went on the app. Nice savings there.
that’s wild.
Corollary is that we also learned that it can’t be used for a total buyout of the restaurant for a party/wedding.
