I tasted the wine in the late Winter at Fran’s trade tasting in Winchester, VA
My notes go something like this:
“Pulverized granite blended together with herbes de Provence and kirsch. Balanced and pure on the finish”
I don’t have my exact notes, but the paraphrasing above is close.
I bought some for the store.

I think I tasted this in Winchester in Feb. but I don’t have my notes handy. I think I liked it though.

Thanks for the info guys. Picked up a case yesterday for $10/bottle. Been very happy with all the 07 CdR I’ve tried up to now. At that price, thought it a good buy.

Great price. I thought I got a good deal at $14 and change.

Just had the 2008 Grand Veneur Rose this weekend. Very tasty stuff on a pleasant almost summer afternoon.

Unfortunately sale ended last night. Had you seen the case price, it would have said $120/case. Price per bottles remained the same in spite of the sale.
