I carry mine in a Reidel bag (softside briefcase looking thing). It holds 4 glasses - MW and I carry 2 Zalto universals and two Reidel Chardonnay glasses in it, with a towell to wipe out the glasses at the end of the night.
The Zalto Universal put the Riedel/Spiegelau to shame tonight. The R/S are still a major step up from le plastique or a generic belly up to the bar, for sure. But looking at this.
I certainly see your point about the tasting room process - too good in the room (zalto) and never good enough at home (no zalto).
