Thanks Todd though after reading your notes I am the novice of Croatian Wine 
We are looking to explore more Malvasia Istriana, during an upcoming trip to Vienna. There is a seafood restaurant there owned by a native Croatian and the entire wine list is full of Malvasia Istriana and other Croatian whites.
