I’ve had 3 Drouhins this autumn, all performing spectacularly:
Clos de la Roche 2001
Charmes-Chambertin 98
Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru 1990
I guess you meant the red 09, of which I have 3, sleeping peacefully.
Red (I never touch white)! Elegant, medium-bodied but complex, just a brilliant effort. Tasted some 2010 Drouhin recently that impressed me also (but unfortunately they weren’t pouring the Mouches).

The Clos des Mouches ages very well too! I had a bottle from a so-so vintage in the 60s or early '70s (forget which one) and it was amazingly lovely!
The 09 Clos des Mouches is absolutely gorgeous. As Paul says, it ages too!

Our local Costco has the 2009 Clos des Mouches rouge for $68. I have had twice in the last month and it was spectacular to drink right now. I am sure it will age beautifully but it is a wonderful drink right now too. I was surprised how refined the tannins were and easily approachable it was.

The 2005 line up were great, I bought all the GC’s, tempted to look at one. Importer to NZ changed and they only bring in the entry level wines, plus the Clos des Mouches, no GC’s in 09 or 2010

'83 this weekend tasted very tired
Very patchy and variable vintage in Brgundy though, 83. What little I’ve tasted have been all over the place.
I always buy Mouches. Also always buy Petits Monts and Clos St. Denis. I drank a bottle of 1985 Beaumonts early this year and it was a stunner. I love JD.
I popped an 09 Clos Des Mouches bottle yesterday, beautifull burg, outstanding QPR IMHO. Will be buying more for sure.
