I need a grabber for 3-deep storage

How about a cane tip 1&1/8-1/4 inch attached to something and use opening to grab just over the lip.

Mea culpa. Most of the puns so far ermine.

Go easy with this, it might extract the cork if not careful

Yeah, you gotta be quick about it. Premature disgorgement is a tragedy.

This from Access Tools. I sell them. I’ll have to bring a bottle out to my truck and see if the loop fits. They make one with a bigger loop but it’s twice as long as well.

Update: Hell yeah it fits!

I ended up buying a 17” cooking tongs with the grippy neoprene type tip, I figured worth the gamble for $10 plus could use it in the kitchen if it didn’t work.

It ended up working great. Maybe if I had forearms like @ToddFrench then I’d need one of the longer grabbers upthread, or I would need to employ one of the small rodent / simian / explosives ideas.

I’ve got a California cousin that spends lots of time on BLM lands and occasionally will catch lizards using a homemade snare attached to the end of a long stick or old fishing pole. He mostly releases the reptiles he captures, but has a handful of lizards he’s kept for around the house/property.

I’m hoping this thread turns into one of the HOF ones.

The BLM movement was pretty big in California. Maybe not as much as the #metoo movement, though.

Needs to be this size to fit in the tubes
