I love that vintage!

Exactly.

Not sure on how 2010 Vintage Ports are, but if they are good, then a 100% hit rate for my cellar…

Well, I hate to say it, but in Austria 2010 was maybe the least succussful vintage between at least 2005 and 2014 …
BUT 2015 is going to be really great, as all reports and my tastings show so far …

  1. All the CA reds I’ve had have been outstanding.

It is absolutely nonsense to state "I love the vintage 19… or 20… " WITHOUT indicating ´in which region´ - that´s the major flaw in this poll!

There are so many differences world-wide …
2014 may be great in CA, but it´wasn´t great, sometimes even weak, in other parts of the world.

That’s why the poll is flawed, but it does lead to good discussion which is why most of us come here. [cheers.gif]

I voted 2010 but I am surprised 2005 has not gotten more love. Fabulous vintage in both Bordeaux and Burgundy. Excellent in Germany.

2001 was a/is fantastic for both California and Washington, by and large. My favorite Napa wines so far have come from 2001.
