Surprised this wasn’t posted already! Pretty big news, given the size of the estate.
It had been for sale for a long time and many were detracted because of a lack of water. Eisele down the road was trucking in water in 2022 due to all the wells going dry.
I hope Kelly Fleming keeps making wine. Jennifer Williams took over last yr and is a great winemaker.

The article doesn’t go into much detail about the issues she had with Napa, just topical. I’d actually like to hear even more!
Some Kelly Fleming fruit went into the Rivers Marie 2021 Calistoga bottling. I don’t recall for 2022, but if there was any arrangement it’s probably over.
