How To Get A Great Hotel Deal in Vegas

I’m going this weekend. I’ve heard about the great rates but not seeing them on Hotels.com.

Thoughts anyone? Anyone?

The KING of hotel deals is not finding deals??

Interestingly, not in LAS nor in NYC! Economy is picking up!

Actually, with the rising Euro (again!), I’m seeing lots of European tourists in NYC, after a lull for the past 6-9 months. Granted, this is the busy season in NYC too, so that is playing a part in it. But from what I read hotel occupancy rates in Manhattan were pretty high because of the price decreases and deals they offered previously.

Check travelzoo dot com and priceline at the last minute

I get a lot of email deals. You might want to check their web-sites.

Try Bing.com also

Thanks, all!

Call the Hilton at the Conv. Center. I am getting offers for $49 per night there.
If you call directly - ask for the Casino activity department not the “front of the house” - if you do any amount of gambling you will get a much better rate.
I don’t gamble much at all but I get offers from most of the hotels.

Most of the web sites just have some reduced rates but not great rates.

Looks like rates went up significantly come Sept. 1 getting ready for their season.

Off the strip will definitely be more affordable. Good luck.
