How much wine did you consume in 2019?

Drank 192, of which 97 brought from my collection. Sold 8

There’s probably 70-100 additional bottles that I didn’t track because they were ‘everyday’ wines or didn’t make a strong impression at a tasting

Total on CT is 166. But that’s overstated because the majority of that is wines where I had a small taste at a tasting, or a glass at a restaurant (I’ve become reasonably diligent about putting up notes, at least on non-plonk). How many bottles bottles did I actually open from my cellar, or share with someone else? Probably somewhere in the range of 50-80.

From my cellar I removed a total of 307.
Consumed - 293
Spoiled - 5
Gifted - 5
Used in cooking - 4

No exact idea.
Overall made 7 tastings from my cellar (app. 160 bts),
participated in app. 20 other tastings (app. 400 wines by the glass),
visited app. 35 wine-makers (app 300-400 wines tasted),
and consumed app. 300+ bottles at home, often with friends …
… ah, and on vacation …(?) maybe 40-50 bottles …

At home - 547 bottles
At restaurants - 30 bottles? Didn’t count all of them.
At other people’s homes - don’t know.
At wineries - don’t know
At tastings - don’t know. No full bottles, maybe 50 tastes per, since some of them were smaller tastings
Gave away - 6 bottles
Dumped - at least 10 bottles

CT tells me that I logged 218 “consumptions” during 2019. This should include anything I drank from my cellar, unless I forgot to log it, but would not include any other sources.

I stopped tracking in and out. Probably a few hundred.

Drank - 140 bottles
Gifted/Donated - 42 bottles (a couple of charity wine basket raffles that fellow Berserkers supported!!) Thank you!
Sold - 2 bottles (first bottles I have ever sold or traded)

An elegant sufficiency!

Consumed - 175 in 2019 according to ct.

186, highest month was September (29). My guess before looking was 70-80.

Playing around with some of CT’s “report” functions is interesting -

Drank 293 (includes cooking)
Gifted 4
Spoiled 4

Drank 129 yay!
Gifted 23 good!
Missing 1 sad!
Premoxed 2 boo!
Corked 1 hiss!
Kind of happy the flawed ratio is pretty low. Might have stronger words otherwise than boo/hiss.

Interesting, I haven’t looked at my consumption over time before. According to CT it was 161 which is almost double what I consumed on average over the previous 8 years. I have no idea why I drank so much last year but I’ll have to try to keep it up!

125 red 35 white.

Drank - 85 of my bottles

Drank at offlines/dinner parties/tastings - a lot more

Same here. I don’t keep track; but, it readily appears we are in the minority here. I, personally, never saw or felt any need to keep count.

For CellarTracker users it’s a simple report. No effort or need.

I actually never run the report unless someone posts a version of this thread, which happens every year or so.

Playa!!

I Don’t know exactly how many I popped, but I generally drink 1/2 bottle per evening, approx 2-2.5 glasses, perhaps a bit more on weekends and entertaining/restaurants. I’m likely in the 225+ range. For me. My wife pops her own stuff, thinks my stuff generally is dreg.
