This is difficult. I would like to have a bunch. What we actually use are a small set of Riedel Os (maybe 50% of the time), Riedel Sommelier Restaurant Champagne glasses(30%), and Lehmann/Lallement #1.

The Riedel Somm glasses are excellent. They don’t break often!

Those glasses are a decent compromise for Champagne. I’d prefer a wider glass but they’re pretty good and look like a classic flute. They are fairly indestructible in the dishwasher.

I feel like as soon as we get used to one kind we move to another. So around 48 riedels, 48 zaltos, and 48 glasvins minus all the broken ones.

Tough to keep the sets together!

Not too many so they can be stored, but not too few that when they break you don’t have enough.

funny you said that. Last night my wife and I were just discussing purging and I said I might sell a bunch of glasses. We have;

12 Schott Zweizel Cab
12 SZ Pinot
12 each Zalto burgundy, bordeaux , white and flutes.

I might buy 2 of the conterno glassesto try and if we like get rid of all the Zalto.
