I am going to bottle approximatley 6 barrels of wine from this vintage. I need a name for the wine. Not the label per se, but I want to come up with a name for the wine…
My goal, which I have no clue as to whether I will succeeed is to make a calfornia pinot that has good tannins, bright juicy acidity, fresh fruit notes and alcohol sub 14%… something that is more structured than typical california pinot… something evocative of a burgundy style as opposed to a ripe fruit, concentrated, fruit bomb style… looking for a clever name that will capture that goal (whether or not it is achieved).
I will send some wine (when bottled) to whoever comes up with a name that I use an put on the label…
any clever, fun, witty and evocative ideas out there?

I don’t know but I do know that wines with Spanish names tend to get really high scores for some reason so I would go with something Spanish. ![tease [tease.gif]](/uploads/db3686/original/2X/c/c5b32b76bebaa359b0452ae247b61189ffe5fa7e.gif)
