Thank you. Giscours pretty easy to locate locally, so I can grab any of those easily.

I gather the 2016 PLL is the vintage to have. I will continue to search. Seems like the 2019 is also quite awesome, but some seemed turned off by the 20 despite the positive press.

Aha, the sleeper of the Second Growths. Rarely talked about. Things will change. Durfort-Vivens has knocked it out of the park, grand-slam style, in 2016 and 2019. Incidentally, love that they have gone back to the old-school, historic label. I’m so excited about this wine that I am dropping my first impressions notes on pop and pour. Will follow over a couple days and add to this. Gorgeous floral nose. Rose petals, tilled soil, spices and rich fruit. The palate - and pardon this incong…

Great to read this after buying some 2016 and 2019 when Durfort-Vivens when I visited Ferriere last fall.

Found some 2016 Lalande, but for the price, I think I’ll target the 2019 for almost $50 less per bottle. I’ll keep my eyes open for it though.
The 22 sounds amazing too, so I’ll definitely grab some of that as well.
Really appreciate the recommendations.

I have not tried the 2019 Lalande but have had a lot of wines from this vintage, both banks. I’ve bought alot as well. While I think 2016 overall is a better vintage, among the top estates, the margin is small. IMHO. I’m sure the Lalande is excellent.

I have not tasted the 2019 Pichon Lalande, but I have had the 2016 when it was young. TN: Pichon Lalande dinner with Nicolas Glumineau - WINE TALK - WineBerserkers The 2016 was the best PL I have had since the 1982.

You all are killing me lol. Going back and forth on this now. Zachy’s had some but it was $400 per. Found some at a better price but about $40-$50 more per bottle compare to the 2019 and 2020

Hard to beat their prices, I’ve gotten 4 to 5 cases and the service and shipping has been excellent.

I learned about it from Mr. Alfert. But, they don’t ship to Maryland.

They won’t ship to a Walgreen’s in MD, but they’ll ship to my home. At least I think they will - the order went through.

Interesting, I had them ship to a Walgreens in DC. Don’t like shipping to my house. Keeps me from being able to play golf (I have priorities).
