Trying to decide how to decant wines for tonight’s Not the La Paulee dinner. Any thoughts:
1978 Q. do Noval Nacional - I already decanted this at noon. OMG. A tablespoon of really dark pieces like wood ear mushrooms.

2016 Saxum Rocket Block - I plan on decanting an hour in advance just to get rid of sediment.
I opened a 2016 G2 for the Super Bowl and found it really tight still. Different blend i know but id still plan on giving your Rocket Block plenty of air 
Almost pulled a G2 tonight but every time I go to grab a Saxum I know it can go much longer. Pulled a 15’ Carlisle Rosella’s instead.
I’d give the Rocket Block more air, won’t hurt it.

Bummer you didn’t have time to decant the 16 Saxum. They are just way too young still
