Help, buying on auction in New York and exporting to Europe

There are some wines i would like to bid on in an auction in New york, but i am located in Europe, in Denmark. I need the bottles shipped either to the UK where i have a storage account, or to Denmark. Does anybody know how/if this is possible, cost of shipping (Aprox), paperwork etc. Basically, how much of a hassle is it?

Mattias–Ask the auction house itself if it can arrange for shipping directly to the UK. Many of them will arrange for int’l shipping, although it may not be as good of a deal as you can arrange yourself.
