Lucky enough to have had the '76 half a dozen times over the last couple of years…minty little bugger isn’t it?

Had 68 and 74 been in the lineup I might have flown in for it. There should be some nice wines on that list. Others may disappoint. You should obviously go for he historical significance of tasting their pre replanting lineup.

I had the 1985 last year (thanks to the board member who opened it!). It was amazing.

I’m just worried he won’t enjoy the wine as he’s showing the kitchen how to throw down the beast on the grill.

Looks like a very reasonable price for the tasting. What I have not really enjoyed recently is the 88, 89 and 98. Most enjoyable are likely the 70, 84, 85 and 86. The 74 is amazing, too bad it is not listed . . .

D’oh.

I just got called back for confirmation and the tasting is in f’ing Houston. No where on the invitation does it state which of the two steakhouses this is at, so I just assumed Dallas since I live in Dallas. I am thoroughly pissed now.
