HDH Auction - 869 Burgs Plus Some Haut Brion & Champagne

My cellar-trimming project will be auctioned Friday May 11, lots 278 through 393. Mostly red Burgundy, a total of 869 bottles. BTW, the 1989 Haut Brion was purchased as a future, and all the Champagne also upon original release. I can answer any questions if anyone wishes to PM me. I’m keeping bottles of just about every wine, and have TN’s for most, many of them posted here. Always perfectly stored, as I’m really a stickler on shipping and storage conditions.

Hart Davis online catalog.

Thanks for the heads up, Lew; will have a look for sure, knowing the provenance.

Lew,
I was actually looking at a fair number of those lots. Makes me feel much better knowing it’s from your cellar. I should have known it was you when the description stated “From the cellar of a distinguished Texas cowboy who enjoys Italian Bikes & French Wines”

Thanks for all the interest. I’ve received multiple requests to sell some of my remaining bottles of Bertheau privately, but sorry, not willing to reduce my stash further. But Hart Davis does still have some of my Bertheau available in their “retail” section, separate from the auction lots. Same consignment, just different sales channel.

Bertheau at retail.

Do they publish the results in real time, I can’t seem to find the hammer prices. In particular, for these lots:

Go to HDHlive.com. They post real time results. Btw, I got outbid on your lots, Lew. :frowning:

Joe, sorry to hear that. I think it would be cool to have some of the bottles remain “in the W/B community.”
