To add one more, we opened a Sabelli-Frisch Anchia zin with barbecued ribs at my in-laws’ place the other day. Additionally, we had a Stars & Dust Both Sides Now Grenache with a nice dinner out last night.

Opened up a 2022 Sleight of Hand Psychedelic Syrah tonight. Started out pretty wild and very dark. Dark fruit with a lot of spice and rustic notes. After an hour plus of air the wildness has tamed down and feels more cohesive with the same notes singing in harmony. Enjoyable and makes me look forward to the other BD bottles.

On the fresher side vs the Hernan the other night. This is such a versatile wine. Paired it with an Italian beef and hot giardiniera. No, not from Johnnies. IYKYK
