A box of collectible wine you can’t open? I don’t see the problem.
If it is nailed shut, use what I call ‘the universal tool:’ that dull knife that comes in your dinnerware set with the forks and spoons.
Just insert and twist!
I opened mine today. There was one staple keeping the rope from sliding. Easy twist of a screwdriver frees it as others said.
