Some of you know that I’m going for the Murphy-Goode Wine Blogger position http://www.areallygoodejob.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I busted my butt last week to get to SFO and meet with the MG Folks. In the process, I was interviewed by SF Chronicle, Santa Rosa Press Democrat, CBS 5, and those were syndicated all over the web. I’ve got some killer momentum and would love to see it grow.
I’ve already received some amazing support from many of you, and if possible, I’d love even more.
This means a lot to me! I’ve been a “man of leisure” for about 4 months, and have been pouring my all into Dirty South Wine (now the top wine blog in the South, and #33 in the world-- out of 34.)
Please take a look at this and support it if you can…just become a fan or read the blog. I drink with Hardy quite regularly here in ATL and can vouch for his passion for wine. Its a great read and a perspective that you don’t get on wine that often. Enjoy.
Hardy, I must say…that is some funny shizzle. I had my doubts about you, only because you live in ATL and know Bowden and Liotta. But after watching that video…you are A#1 in my book (behind Zach, of course.) Ok, so A#2.
Oh, and I voted for you, fuck-monkey. (whoops…sorry Wine Talk Mods!)
I’ll be happy to vote for you if for no other reason than to have one of our own get paid well and have fun. That said, I have to ask what makes you so enthusiastic about writing up the wines of a fairly commercial winery whose wines have garnered zero interest amongst us here (at least I have yet to see a single TN on MG). Just curious, not trying to stir the pot or cause trouble.
