Hey everyone, I’m working out details for food. There’s nothing more Hardy than Fried Chicken. It just so happens that the local Asian Restaurant in Forestville, BAZAAR SONOMA or BA/SO as we like to call it, makes an incredible fried chicken. Their dumplings are also superb.
I reached out to them and in their words “It’d be a honor to be a part of this.”
So the idea is Chicken and Dumplings.
They offer three styles of dumplings along with Chili Crunch and Soy Sauce
Pork Scallion
Pork Shrimp
Chicken Cabbage
What I need to know from all of you is:
Does this sound good?
If so we can narrow down dumpling choices or do all three version. I vote the latter.
Do any of you have any food allergies/aversions they would need to know about?
Can we count on a monetary donation to help cover some of the food cost?
We can still do starters of Ceviche (Susie), Cheese/Fruit (Ed). My idea is to minimize the time spent cooking and running round and maximize the time spent with my guests.
Thoughts?
Also, still filling the roster. If anyone else would like to attend by all means speak up!
Edit: Oh, and if your heart was set on having some grilled Flannery don’t be shy. I can grill up something. Maybe rib cap medallions for appetizers. Just so say.
