Big news - the sale of the vineyard completed last week. While, as we described previously, the sale provokes mixed emotions, we are very pleased to let you know that Pax Mahle along with his partner Baron Ziegler have acquired the vineyard. We cannot imagine a better team to continue the Halcón legacy. We met Pax in 2001 and have been a regular buyer of his wine ever since. He has the very highest regard for the vineyard and has created superb wines from Halcón fruit for Wilde Farm. Look for more news on Pax and Baron’s plans over the next few months
