Taking my first half day off in a couple of weeks, I stopped by the supermarket and got the fixings for a serious lunch as I was too tired to go to various cookouts I was invited to: Salumi, cheese, chips & salsa and a big salad.
I treated myself to a pint of my new favorite Häagen Dazs offering: Carmelized Hazelnut Gianduja

Previously when I had this it had WHOLE chocolate covered hazelnuts in a vanilla ice cream with big swirls of Gianduja (chocolate and hazelnut paste) in it.
THIS time it was more like butter brickle with small pieces of crunchy caramel and hazelnuts in it. Good but not NEARLY as good as before.
Was this a bum pint or have they changed the whole concept but kept the name? I feel like I was a victim of bait and switch…
