Gyoza, Miso Soup, and Sake

Tonight’s dinner was four each of two kinds of gyoza (potstickers), shrimp & onion and pork & vegetable - with several dipping sauces: two different ponzu sauces, soy sauce with red chiles, and a chile-lime dipping sauce We also had a miso soup, a dashi made from shredded bonito, kombu, & chives with added three-year old brown barley miso. We had a Onikorushi Daiginjo sake - with nice rich flavors and a light feel. The sake was very good with the gyoza and miso soup.

Then for dessert we finished the dark chocolate and hazelnut gelati that was in our freezer.
