He would be George Thomas Seaver and no he has no website. Everything is done via snail mail or the phone.
Thanks Tony.
I have requests for his wine on a weekly basis and I assume he has no distribution out here in NJ.
I bought a 6 pack of the 2005 inaugural release based on my love of Thomas Brown as a winemaker, the vineyards potenetial, and my fond memories of watching Seaver pitch for the Mets growing up. It is a tight wine that is not slutty delicious like many of TRB’s wines. I think it is a well made wine with good fruit. I suspect some ageing will help this wine break out of its shell. I am not sure I will buy more, but I am not sure I won’t, either… If I were a retailer (especially in NY/NJ) I would definitily acquire it and make sure potential customers knew the story behind the wine. It should sell well. I recall once hearing that some retailer offered to buy a substantial percent of the total GTS production…
Here is a link to some amateur opinion on the wine: http://dat.erobertparker.com/bboard/showthread.php?t=192234&highlight=GTS
