Tonight’s dinner was Pollo Real Label Rouge legs & thighs braised with Romero Farm’s Chimayo Green Chiles (medium hot), served over rice. Interestingly the chiles were a couple steps hotter than last weekend with Jeff Pfohl. So we decided to have Margaritas instead of wine. We started with Certeza Blanco for our first Margaritas, followed by Chamucos Reposado for our seconds. Both were very enjoyable with the chiles & chicken.
Then for dessert, while watching the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, we had small scoops of gelati - vanilla, hazelnut, & chocolate. Carollee had caramel sauce on them, while I had Patron XO Café and Hazelnut Syrup. Too bad Hamilton crashed with just a couple laps to go.
