Nice. We will be having the '97 tomorrow night with P-Rob and Bowden.

That should be a good match. How will the P-Rob and Bowden be prepared?

The '97 is a nice wine . . . should be good.

I have found the more recent vintages decidedly more and more modern for whatever that is worth.

I have tasted with Antonio many times. He is a very thorough and expert taster. He has his own standards which he continues to maintain at a very high level. If you don’t know him because you don’t follow Italy, you should start now!

I would agree (and good to see you posting), but I just love the 2004 Ornellaia. That evening was my first experience with the 2006 and based on the tasting, it will not be my last.

The real surprise, for me, was the 2002 on that night. I thought it was a great wine!
