Great day of left over wine!

Finished 3 terrific wines today. All of them held up well. [thankyou.gif]

1989 Pegau - great wine. This spent a night in the fridge after recorking. The wine was nicely mature, minimal tanning and nice fruit. The wine has many years of life left.

1985 Ducru Beaucallou - ran out of room in the fridge so the last glass stayed in the bottle on the kitchen counter over night. Did not affect the wine much. Very mature wine that is drinking well. Not as open on the note or tastebuds as the Pegau.

Many thanks to my friend who brought these over last night for dinner and the football game.

1999 Monsanto Nemo Il Molino. This was two days old (I was not going to drink it last night when the Pegau and Ducru were opened) and spent the time in the fridge. Much younger, slightly tannic and nice fruity.

Great evening watching the end of the Jets victory, 60 minutes and the Golden Globes!
