Great CA Pinot Noir Bargain!

Last year it was the 2005 McHenry…

This year it is the 2006 Kendric Marin PN!
The owner is giving serious discounts!

Here’s the details:
Regular price = $33.00 (A bargain at that price)
Buy 12 bottles, get a 33% discount (That’s $22.00 a bottle) (Ridiculous)
Buy 6 bottles, get a 20% discount (That’s $26.33 a bottle) (Somewhat less ridiculous)

Here’s my note from the June Marin Wine Tasting:
2006 Kendric “Estate” PN – 13.9%
Medium red. Nice spicy cherry nose.
Beautiful suave creamy red fruits.
A winner! [90+ pts]

I can’t recommend this enough for the price! [winner.gif]

Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with Kendric Winery.
Just know a GREAT deal when I see one!!!

BACK UP DA VAN!!! [dance-clap.gif]

If you’re ordering outside of CA or Nevada, contact the winery directly to arrange shipping. All discounts still apply.

I thought you were back on Burgundy!

Sounds like a great deal, unless, of course, you can get 2007 Cameron Dundee Hills or Gehrts Vineyard Pinot Noir for pretty much the same price, which those of us in Oregon can.

I still pick up a few select CA Pinots…
Rhys, Mount Eden, Copain, Williams Selyem, Arcadian etc

TTT

Ditto on those, plus the 2007 Belle Pente Yamhill-Carlton (soon to be released), the Westrey 2007 Justice and Oracle (for less) and the 2008 Ayres Willamette Valley (also less).

Paul - Occasionally you feel the urge for a reasonably priced, unflawed wine with flavor? neener

Ouch…
That hurt my tender Burgundy G-Spot… [wink.gif]

I just ordered 6 more Patricia Green 2008 Pinot Willamette Reserve (their low end bottle) that are a touch over $26 with East Coast shipping (I got the case price because I added it to an upcoming shipment). My tasting note:

Willamette Reserve 2008. Wow, this is something special, back up the truck for this $25 wonder. This is certainly up there with the 07 vineyard designates and a great endorsement for 08 on Ribbon Ridge. While still primary it is already showing depth and great aromatics. A-/A

Hard to imagine anything better at $25!

PS: Can’t remember if all the juice is from Ribbon Ridge – no matter really

Paul, thanks for the Marin PN recco. You really should try some of the OR QPRs suggested by Rick and Bob. I’d be happy to swap you a few bottles.

Paul,

Thanks for sharing these bargains when you find them (I’m still enjoying the 05 McHenry). Since you like Arcadian, have you picked up some of the 06 Fiddlestix that’s available several places for $30? Speaking of bargains…

Have not tried that pup.
Should I?

TTT

yes … just decant the hell outta it before tasting.
