Here’s my note from the June Marin Wine Tasting:
2006 Kendric “Estate” PN – 13.9%
Medium red. Nice spicy cherry nose.
Beautiful suave creamy red fruits.
A winner! [90+ pts]

I can’t recommend this enough for the price!

Sounds like a great deal, unless, of course, you can get 2007 Cameron Dundee Hills or Gehrts Vineyard Pinot Noir for pretty much the same price, which those of us in Oregon can.

Sounds like a great deal, unless, of course, you can get 2007 Cameron Dundee Hills or Gehrts Vineyard Pinot Noir for pretty much the same price, which those of us in Oregon can.

Ditto on those, plus the 2007 Belle Pente Yamhill-Carlton (soon to be released), the Westrey 2007 Justice and Oracle (for less) and the 2008 Ayres Willamette Valley (also less).

I just ordered 6 more Patricia Green 2008 Pinot Willamette Reserve (their low end bottle) that are a touch over $26 with East Coast shipping (I got the case price because I added it to an upcoming shipment). My tasting note:

Willamette Reserve 2008. Wow, this is something special, back up the truck for this $25 wonder. This is certainly up there with the 07 vineyard designates and a great endorsement for 08 on Ribbon Ridge. While still primary it is already showing depth and great aromatics. A-/A

Hard to imagine anything better at $25!

PS: Can’t remember if all the juice is from Ribbon Ridge – no matter really
