I have an established lemon tree that isn’t what I expected. It was supposed to be a dwarf Meyer lemon; instead the lemons are the size of grapefruit with an inch thick skin, and it grows to over 20’ tall.
I’m wondering how hard it would be to graft other types of citrus onto it and creating a frankenlemon.
I’ve heard of people doing this. How hard is it?
I wonder if we could graft Todd to make a superTodd. That’s be cool.

Dave, I seem to remember having multiply-grafted citrus trees when I lived in San Diego. A brief web search seems to indicate that it’s pretty commonly done - how complicated or successful the efforts are, I dunno. An example: Gardening | ehow
