I’d like to attend the after. What time do you think it will kick? 8 ish?

I think it would start later, 9PM+. My thoughts were (i) 6PM start event, (ii) 6:30 sharp start to the flights, (iii) 8:30PM finish to flights and food, leading to (iv) after party at 9PM. I was told 9PM may be too tight and to start the afterparty 9:30PM, but I will nail it down over next couple days (and open to hearing thoughts from others).

9/9:30 sounds good. So look to finish around 1am? Trying to decide if I should book a room then.

Getting a little pre-game on tonight.

The wines are surprisingly similar and yet a bit different. Both have bright red fruit, a little bit crunchy on the nose and some layered spices and complex notes. The Felettig is a bit more lifted with finer tannins. The Goodfellow is a more serious wine, a bit darker and more brooding. Great to try them side-by-side. I would definitely say that they are both on the same “level.”

This should be an awesome event. Afterparty sounds like it will be lit too! Happened upon some pretty old Lignier in the cellar so I’ll bring that too!

I apologize for the late notice, but I will be unable to attend the Goodfellow and Burgs tasting on Friday, June 10. Thankfully, I was able to connect with Dinesh Goyal, so Dinesh will be taking my spot. I’m sorry that I will miss Marcus, Megan and the Goodfellow(ship) clan. Enjoy the evening and be well!
