Anyone know if there is a store that has a very good selection of bordeaux 375s that you would recommend? I had read someones blog about getting started in bdx by drinking a number of 375s from the classified growths and it intrigued me. Thanks in advance.
K&L wines had a decent selection when I looked today.
There is a website; Halfwitwines.com that sells nothing but half bottles, their prices aren’t great, but they have decent sales occasionally.
Sotheby’s Retail has good selection and fair prices.
That’s awesome… but yeah, the pricing is pretty mediocre.
Best way is to buy via futures, but then you have to wait for delivery and it’s only new vintages.
Premier Cru usually has an outstanding selection of half bottle BDX futures… but then the wait is of course a bit longer.
