Their website is a total ripoff and they follow the same buy-tons-of-dreck-to-get-allocations-of-good-stuff rules that alll the other importers follow. Have been very lucky to pick up choice bottles from retailers somehow higher in the food chain (I.e. Thanks Martin).

They bring in some great stuff though!

I think they don’t want to undercut other retailers, which are their main avenue of distribution. It’s just like wineries that only sell at full list price.

Yup…agree w/ John on this point.

Their WebSite, though prices are expensive, appears to me that you just go there and order whatever you want
and they are not forcing you to buy “tons of dreck”. Other importers I order from (WineMongers/BlueDanube/EnotecaVinoNostro) also
operate on the same policy. Most importers can’t be bothered by doing DTC sales, or don’t want to waste their resources doing such.
