GLASVIN a new handmade glass!

I could see that a little. The bowl is a bit more larger and elongated than that, and it tapers to a narrow opening to concentrate aroma. It worked quite well for both reds and whites.

I’m not knocking on it, I also have not tried it, so it’s tough to pass judgement on it by just looking at it. I did not like the aesthetics of the Josephinenhutte glasses (still don’t really), but I do concede that the white stem performs really well with riesling and champagne, and I was also super impressed with the new champagne glass when I tried it a short while back.

I really didn’t like the shape of those from photos either, but when I actually used one in person, it really changed my mind. Performs great, and the shape grew on me. Much prettier in person, I find. Photos seem to exaggerate things a bit much.

I’m liking the Raj glass. It reminds me a little bit of a beer glass. Anyone looking to pick up this new glass?

Ordered some rocks glasses from Glasvin. The UPS update said the shipment was coming from Perpetual Equestrian LLC. Thought I was finally getting a pony.

Going to use the Tulip glass tonight with some wines from Ischia. The design of the glass is beautiful.

Just told my wife we are now a Glasvin family.

These really are a perfect balance of light, thin, and sturdy.

I think I mentioned it here before…I ordered a set of four single rocks glasses. When they came, they were way too small for my taste so I returned them. Recently bought four of the double rocks glasses and two Nick and Nora’s. Loving the N&N’s for martini’s and drinks served up. The jury is still out on the double rocks glasses. They look beautiful. However, since the base is thin, they sit lower than my current rocks glasses that have a much thicker base. I’m getting used to them. However, within a few days, I’ve already broken one. I like a big ice cube…one of the molds I have is for a two inch sphere rock. It barely fits in the glass and this one slipped as I was inserting it into the glass and it fell the last inch and hit the bottom of the glass and punched the base right off the glass. I don’t think this is a defect, I just think they are that thin and a little accident with an ice cube can cause breakage.

Thought this picture was fun. Manhattan with a clear ice cube on a lucite table

The old rocks glasses with the thick, indestructible base. Also of note, the same 2x2 square cube and there’s room on the sides for the garnish. The GV’s are smaller and there’s no room on the side for the cherries.
