Three wine themed paintings purchased in Paris in 2001 by French artist, Jean Wallis (1938-). ‘Medoc Degustation’ 34" x 29" framed, ‘Piano Bar’ 26.5" x 31" framed, and ‘Dancing at the Piano Bar’ 26.5" x 34". They are $500 each (framed) and I really prefer to keep them together. We have always had them hanging in the same room. I can email or text additional photos.
Jean was a real character. He told us that his paintings were in many important collectors and celebrities collections. He said Catherine Deneuve owned several of his paintings and was a big fan.
Jean had a gallery in the Marche aux Puces in Paris and these three paintings were in his solo exhibition at the Hotel California in Paris. Jean also had an atelier in Bordeaux, where he painted.
