This is probably not the best time to sell these, but what the heck, it is also not the best time for my kitchen to be going way over budget either. I am likely going to have to sell more stuff, but I’ll start with these.
2007 Clos des Papes, 3 bottles. $450 for the lot, negotionable.
And since I am a motivated seller, feel free to make me an offer.
I am not the type of person who sells wine. Usually, when I buy wine, I plan on drinking it. Even when I have bought something sight unseen and thrn didn’t like it, I typically have either traded it away or simply given it away. So, I am not eager to sell anything, but over the next 6 months I will be putting stuff out for trade or sell, probably some Harlan, Shafer, Merus, stuff like that.
Aargh…
You guys are killing me. That would be like selling my flesh and blood.
Although your questions have made me think a bit. I do have enough bottles from the 70’s and 80’s that I could sell a few of them if I wanted. But, I would much rather open them at dinner with you than sell them to you. You still get to drink the wine, but then it is on my dime.
I guess I’ll think about it, but for right now table wines are on the chopping block.
