Fried Chicken over Turkey?

Stew. Mom ate two bowls and took one to her apartment. Somebody else ate two bowls, until she saw the gizzard in the picture.

I had promised no liver (but ground up already with flour, to thicken). Oooops.

Bird was happy that I wasted nothing. Well, sort of happy……

I was thinking about make a Demi glacé next year in advance but not sure if it’s the worth the effort. Looks good!

Easy way to make demi glace.

Simmer bones in pot. Strain and freeze the stock.
When later bones, melt that same stock in order to simmer them. Strain and freeze, like before.
Repeat when later bones. The cumulative flavors and gelatins will progressively form a no-trouble demi glace.

I mean most things are easy… just time consuming :eyes:

During a pandemic, simmering something on the stovetop is an easy one of multiple tasks, when going nowhere.
