French Themed Friendsgiving, What Should I Cook?

I think this settles it. I’m going to do a play on takoyaki with snails and choux pastry. Maybe a few with miatake mushrooms and caramelized onions for vegetarians. Good call.

That sounds delicious! I’ve never had takoyaki, but I’ve had escargot in what I think was little puff pasties, and WOW! Please post photos and reactions after you’ve made and served them.

Now I just need to figure out how to make that sound as fancy as possible in French, (and so people don’t know what they are eating).

Call it Algerian, no one will notice.
