2010 Roy Piper Cab

I popped one of these puppies on the day I arrived. Couldn’t keep my paws off and I wasn’t disappointed. Great red and black cherry fruit with nice complexity and a touch of vanilla in the mid-palate. Awesome effort and will be a long-term ager. 95 points

Rich, so glad you liked it. Did you get a chance to decant it for long?

I tried a bottle the other day and found it seemed to be signing best with 5-6 hours decanted. The 2011 btw, seems good with about 3-4 hours.
