For LA crew...we will be doing a marketing pour tonight...

…at a local cougar hang / skin care boutique called The Three Graces (1309 Montana Ave in Santa Monica). Nothing high-end but lots of fun stuff. This is part of the Montana Ave Holiday Walk and every store will be doing something special on the sidewalk. We’ll be there from 5 till the wine runs out (probably 8 or so)…

Any of the supermodels going to be in attendance? Because I could probably make it all the way up from Venice…on the other hand, it is First Friday on Abbot Kinney.

Cheers!

It’s always a full buffet of eye candy…of all ages.

Skin care, cougars, and off-beat Italian wines? Roberto, you need to fine-tune your marketing plan…[g]

Bruce

Bruce, as I have said a million times, our demo is decidedly female. BUT, this is an open house with almost 100% participation from the (remaining!) businesses on Montana from 17th to 7th. Draws thousands of folks most years and today the weather is cooperating too…

Nothing I like more than cougars on the prowl looking for skin care while intoxicated… hitsfan

All in all a VERY fun night. I spent the night filling Blade Runner dreamgirl / replicant Sean Young’s glass with Camille Saves Vintage Brut (she bought our last case in the morning and brought a bottle to keep under the bar for us) while she talked product with cuties of every age and origin (Sean is the best friend of the store owner).

After I carded at least five 30+ women we decided that I would card women sort of randomly and then Sean or Corrine would note “See, that stuff really works!” about the magic potions (incredibly specialized to very specific parts of the body) they sell to keep them looking like fresh off the bus young stuff…

Cougars, Badgers, or Wolverines?

They are everywhere around here. I try not to look…

I decided to do the Venice Art Walk last night. Another run of truly atrocious wines served at galleries. Except there was a Sancerre rose that was actually palatable. The guy working the bar had no clue when I asked for a pour of the rose–he couldn’t even find it on the table even though it was right in front of him…
