Hi All,
First of (hopefully) quarterly WB Onlines. I like the idea of connecting with everyone over a zoom for a WB online. The plan is to have a winemaker, somm, writer, etc… speak, do a QA, then do an open floor discussion if anyone wants to chat about the topic or something else wine related. Open a bottle and hang out digitally. No camera on requirement if you just want to join and listen.
For our first online, @Marcus_Goodfellow agreed to speak. He will do a brief overview of the macroterroir of the Valley and then discuss the differences between the microclimats he works with.
As an incentive to join, Marcus has agreed to open an exclusive list of library wines from the cellar. During the zoom we will provide a link for those who are interested in purchasing some.
When: May 6th, 5pm PST / 8PM EST.
How: Zoom login details will be provided when we get closer to the date.
Duration: I expect it to be about 30-45 mins, but there is no hard cap.
Schedule: Intro, 15-20 mins of Marcus speaking, Q&A, open floor discussion.
