FF Draft afternoon - lots of Bdx and Cabs

Wow, what a lineup…At my FF draft we drink beer and do shots of Stoli…I guess you guys really do it big in Texas. [welldone.gif]

Damn… Nice work!!

Was the SQN the syrah, sure sounds like to to me!

Great notes Philip.

Last night was leftover night at Don’s. The 3 day old Pichon was showing better than day 1 or 2.

Is the the bottle you beat me up for back in the day Denny?

The petite sirah was a '78 Robert Mondavi.

You also forgot the '04 Marcassin Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard that Richie Rich brought. I had a sip and it was too full blown for my tastes.

SQN Syrah Raven Series is the shiznit no doubt.

2006 Bryant makes me want to buy some now after tasting it.

Maybach nevers lets me down.

Petrus will be something in a couple of decades.

Both the Beringer and Caymus SS were perfect examples of what good winemaking in Napa can accomplish.

Thanks to Don Vino for having us over.

As a side note, we went over a plan for Flannery Fest III as this will be the host venue.

Oh, ah, yeah. It was terrible. I need a refund. [berserker.gif]

First time I met Denny, That 6 L Started off at 1 K and he slowly but surely whittled it down to $675, ahh well , at least it drank well…Denny…you owe me one. [basic-smile.gif]

Wow, some really nice wines there!
I drank a 1978 Pichon Lalande over the weekend too, but mine was just a mere 750. Really nice, mature Bdx though.

I think I beat you worse than that. [thumbs-up.gif]

Sweet Jesus

How did planning for FFIII-redux go?

Mild thread drift: If anyone is interested in the exact opposite of what PRob and co did for their draft, we played a poker tournament while drinking beast light, where the first knocked out had to wear a chicken suit all day and pickup cluck-u wings with the suit on.
