this is interesting because I see Mont Redon as an excellent but quite commercial wine - then a huge gap - and Rayas on the very top of the Appellation (together with Pegau and Bonneau).
However I can understand this preference more that the preferences for Beaucastel - which is a very solid but boring wine …
I would rather drink a Mont Redon than a Beaucastewl after 1999.
