Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua has free corkage on Mondays. Just went there last night.

Nicholas Roberts in Norwalk has $5 corkage and is very good, though not much in the way of atmosphere. I’ve heard good things about Cafe Basso which is no corkage, but haven’t been.
Sadly wine lists around here are generally pretty uninteresting - annoying distribution laws means it’s tough to find anything beyond recent vintages of relatively widely-available wines.
Not to drift into corkage issues (there’s an entire thread on that in the BYO forum), but if there’s one place I would not bring wine to, it would be Kittle House.
In theory, I agree. But when with a group, sometimes budget trumps the desire to delve into the Kittle House’s massive cellar.
Tell you what Joe, why don’t we plan for a Monday night dinner at Kittle house sometime in September?
