I bought 6, which was on par with my seasonal D&R purchase. 2 of each except Orange wine. (Love what you do, Hardy, but I still can’t pull the trigger on Orange.) Shipping 6 to NYC was $35, so not cheap but fine.
Hmm, is there a trick to shipping? The only option I’m offered is ‘No Shipping Required’. But then I can pick a shipping date. I put the order in anyway, hopefully they can fix it on the backend. But, I’m a little apprehensive about that given the complaints about shipping costs above!
I placed the order like I imagine a crack addict would buy crack if you could buy it online.
Logged in at 6:29 - saw the Light Red, Mourvedre, and Orange available. Order placed 6ea
Went back to check and at 6:31 the Chenin became available so ordered that 6
Went back to check at 6:32 and the fall case was available so I ordered that.
I didn’t get an allocation e-mail (and I’ve checked my spam filters), though I got the Camp sign up e-mail and can access my account online so I don’t know what the problem is. I have almost 15 cases of Dirty and Rowdy wines in the cellar and know enough people who are buying the wines that I’ll just drink theirs. Life is too short to jump through hoops to buy a product I already own too much of.
I ordered both of the reds for the same reason - see what’s different/same. I sense the lighter red might be similar to the “Wear a Mask” Red Wine, which has been delicious after a brief grumpy, knitting together period.
No offer for white/orange for me, but I probably would have passed on those. So no club, no foul.
