Hardy and Kate Wallace have opened up a tasting room just off the Sonoma Plaza in the town of Sonoma.
We had a pickup scheduled for yesterday so drove
down to get our wine and take look at the tasting room.
I can tell you the space is super cool, it’s open with with a bar, plenty of seating, hand paintings on the walls, the room has a vibe that shows off Hardy’s (and Kate’s) personality!
The wines as expected were awesome with a freshness and energy that Hardy always delivers. No notes taken, we were chatting away with Hardy, Kate, Jill (working with EDWCY) and other attendees.
There was a Zin based blend that begged for BBQ, a skin fermented white that so complex and delicious, a Grenache that was perfumed, full of flavors yet low alcohol. A wine CdP could only hope to make. There were others, @H_Wallace_Jr can fill in.
