Cool, thanks! Iāve had a few eye-opening wines from greater Lodi in the last few years, including a Stampede Zin from Matre de Chaiābut I confess I donāt know much about the geology of the area. Thatās super helpful.
Thatās our vineyard. MDC is our longest running vineyard customer at Stampede ā¦since 2013. Great people and great friends too!

We all know the state of the wine industry these days and as winegrowers, in addition to our small brand, its support like this that help keep vineyards in the ground.
Especially the old, historic vineyards like the 3 we are featuring in BD17. They yield so little to begin with but they make up for it in wine quality.

The bubbly they sold last year is very nice. I drank one at MP Taverna and left the last few ounces from Michael Psilakis, the owner and celebrity chef. He was working in the kitchen that day, and I have not been back yet to ask him his opinion, but it was a great pairing with Greek food.
It is AMAZING. Stunningly good.
