Flew into Madrid today and it was fastest I’ve ever been through customs anywhere. Walked up to the line, they asked if we were US passports, moved us to the EES system (for some reason they were only doing US passports in EES), scanned, fingerprinted, filled out in a minute, bypassed the entire line of people waiting for traditional passport control. Total was less than 3 minutes.

Exit out of BCN yesterday was 5 min. Passport control at LAX was literally 1 min. No one there at 7 pm. One picture, done.

Copenhagen was easy going in and took 5 minutes but an hour going out.
Leaving Zurich yesterday took us 20 minutes and 22 seconds according to my son. The sign at the end of the line said 20 minutes from here. Leave it to the swiss to be on time. Ironically we didnt even show our passports upon reentry in SFO. THey just took our picture
9:00 AM Tuesday arrival to the queue at CDG - kiosks were closed, used a passport scanner with a real-time photo. Did not speak to a soul, was at luggage at 9:18 out of customs at 9:25.
